Kathryn and Tim

Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of doing an engagement session for Kathryn and Tim. I met them at their ceremony site to check out the area where I will be photographing their wedding in September. Let me tell you how excited I am to be working with this couple. Not only are they two very kind, down to earth people, but the location will allow me to capture one beautiful image after another. Kathryn told me that the aisle she is walking down is the longest in all of Chicago, and I couldn't stop commenting on how beautiful the chapel is. Even on a cloudy afternoon, there was so much light shining through the stained glass windows that it is easy to see all the intricate details and flash is completely unnecessary. Here are a few of my favorite photos, taken across the street from the church.

S, D and Parents- What a beautiful family!

Two weekends ago I was able to photograph a few families in my hometown of St. Louis. I had so much fun being able to catch special moments between these two adorable brothers and their parents. It happened to be 100 degrees the day of this shoot, but that didn't stop this family from being incredibly cute! The last photo is my favorite. Smooshy baby cheeks are the best!
